PERTH'S SPECIALIST IN QUALITY AND CUSTOMISED BATHROOM RENOVATIONS

Perth is the most vibrant city and the heart of Western Australia. Here, you will meet professionals and entrepreneurs living their busy lives, and you might get caught up in the fast-paced rhythm too. However, whether you are with the other half or with your entire family, Perth has places where you can calm down, relax, and reconnect with nature.

While the state-of-the-art skyscrapers have created one of the most recognizable skylines in the world, the parks are the pulsating heart of the city. Find out the best ones to spend a few hours or entire weekends enjoying picnics, games, and sunbathing time with your loved ones.

Kings Park, Botanical Gardens, and Matilda Bay Reserve

Kings Park is the pulsating green heart of Perth. Located right in the centre of the city, it covers over 400 hectares of land and offers everything you need to spend a whole day enjoying a variety of activities, from kayaking to boat tours, picnics, and walks among nature.

If you love waking up early, Kings Park is the best place to enjoy a stunning sunrise over the city - or grab a quick breakfast at one of the many cafes and restaurants that dot the green.

At the core of Kings Park is the beautiful Western Australian Botanic Garden, which offers tourists, locals, and families the chance to immerse themselves in over 3000 species of native plants and wildflowers. Pro tip: visit the Botanic Gardens in September to see them in full bloom!

Kings Park is one of the most accessible ones in the city, with several bus lines connecting it to the various areas of Perth. If the park gets too busy, a short drive will take you to the nearby Matilda Bay Reserve.

Lake Monger Reserve

Located just off the city centre, the Lake Monger Reserve is the best place to enjoy the Wildlife around Perth. While the greenery and the peaceful lake create a stunning atmosphere, this smaller park is not as busy as Kings Park - which makes it perfect for a more intimate BBQ or relaxing picnic with your loved ones. Here you will find walking and running paths, but also all the facilities you need for a whole day out!

John Oldham Park

John Oldham Park is a smaller park located at the very centre of Perth with stunning views of the city’s skyline. This family-friendly green area is a great place to relax near stunning waterfalls and natural features.

However, it is also one of the most accessible parks in Perth, which makes it a hotspot for runners and cyclists. A second portion of the park - the David Carr Memorial Park - is a little greener and perfect for a relaxing break when exploring the city.

Northbridge Piazza

Undoubtedly, the parks above are what make Perth such a green and family-friendly city. However, the Northbridge Piazza could not go unmentioned! This smaller green area located in the centre of the city is the perfect place for families to find free entertainment and relaxation. You might enjoy a free movie under a sunny sky, listen to music, or relax on the grass.

From sunset onwards, the piazza becomes the hotspot for the area’s nightlife. Dotted with restaurants, eateries, and bars, the piazza is often used for performances and exhibitions that make it the most interesting place in central Perth!
